Maya Wang is a DJ, producer, and musician dedicated to DJing as a form of self-expression and community building.
She enjoys spinning all things groovy—disco, citypop, soul, funk, house, and garage.
With her talent for mixing and magnetic presence, Maya sets the vibe of any dance floor, delivering an infectiously joyful sonic experience.
Her unique style and curation has led her to DJ at art and fashion events including Arts & Draughts at the Columbia Museum of Art, and ECO Runways in Charleston.
Maya draws inspiration from the vibrant, local creative communities around her and is an integral part of two Columbia-based DJ collectives, Folk Tech and SoundEscape.
